This was our first RV camping trip. We rented a 27 foot RV and went to Guadelupe River RV Resort on our first trip. We really enjoyed staying at GRRR. The grounds were immaculate and the people were extremely friendly. Since we were “newbies”, the staff was extremely attentive. They helped us get parked and came by and checked on us later to make sure we were all set.

GRRR is right right on the Guadelupe River and has a beautiful meadow between the RV area and the river. The meadow has plenty of walking trails, a play ground for the kids, and nice bench swings for just relaxing.

GRRR is easy to find and easy to access. Almost all of the sites are pull through with a picnic table and fire ring. GRRR has a great set of amenities including a game room, swimming pool, laundry room, and a really nice pavilion. Almost all of the RV sites are level making setup extremely easy.

We spent most of our time just relaxing by the river, riding bicycles and meeting our neighbors. We had a wonderful time and this experience convinced us to purchase our own RV.
