Goliad State Park is probably our favorite Texas State Park. We really enjoyed this trip. The RV camping area is awesome. All of the spaces are level and most have full hookups. There were very few people at the part the weekend we were there so we had a lot of privacy. The closest RV to us was 2 spaces away. The showers and bathrooms were very clean and well kept.

The river area was very muddy due to large amount of rain that came through the area our 1st night there. However we had a great time exploring the part, touring the old mission, and riding our bicycles. The old mission was very interesting and definitely worth exploring. We tried fishing in the river but nothing was biting due to the fact that the current was flowing so fast.

Goliad State Park is a great weekend destination and highly recommended.
