We only stayed on night at this KOA on our way from Austin to Big Bend National Park. KOA Junction was was very nice and sits right on the Llano River. The campground was nicely kept and well maintained. Our spot was only slightly off level but we were right near the river so it is to be expected. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant.

The staff had been raising some ducklings and we enjoyed watching them play in the river and waddle on the river bank. I am quite sure this campground is very pretty in the summer when everything greens up and the trees get their leaves back.

The only negative about the campground was that it was right near US Highway 377 and we heard quite a bit of road noise. The opposite side of the campground from us probably has no road noise. KOA Junction is easily accessed from Interstate 10 and makes a great stop over point.
