Lady Bird Johnson Park is a great park. It is located close to Fredericksburg, Texas on Highway 16 to the south. It is a very popular park as I would say that about 70% of the sites were occupied. The sites were spaced very nicely with plenty of room so we didn’t not feel crowded at all. Most of the sites are back in, but there are some pull through sites near the park office. I believe all of the RV sites have full hookups. The park is very well kept and maintained.

Bob, the park host, was very nice and helped us get settled in. He came by twice during our stay to check in on us. A very nice fellow. We enjoyed walking down by the creek and the nature trail. Our daughter enjoyed the play ground equipment near the golf course. We took our kayak and enjoyed a short run down the creek from one dam to the next dam.

The one negative is that the park is next to the city airport and we did hear planes coming and going. We probably heard about 4 or 5 a day (we stayed for 2 nights). If you are going to Fredericksburg, this is the place to stay.
